Imagine yourself part of a basketball team or any other team sport. You've looked for the best equipment to use, you've conditioned your body to the games ahead, you've practiced really hard, you've envisioned yourself playing the game, and you've imagine the audience shouting and screaming their lungs out for every action as it occurs...AND WHEN THE ACTUAL BIG GAME FINALLY HAPPENS....YOU SAT ON THE BENCH THE ENTIRE GAME.

Have you ever excitedly anticipated something for a long time, and when that MOMENT FINALLY CAME....YOU WERE NOT THERE?

I lost something valuable today. Its not a thing.....it was a MOMENT.

"Pak Syet! sensitive ako today ha. Even a very small insignificant thing seemed big to me...WHAT WAS I THINKING???yaiks!..."

I'll be starting my graveyard shift next week! Yippee! I remember that I posted here before jobs that suits my lifestyle. (Fyi: I am a night person) And guess what? I got my wish! I am truly a "creature" of the night....
It is always surprising how small a part of life is taken up by
meaningful moments. Most often they're over before they start
eventhough they cast a light on the future and make the person who
originated them unforgettable."

To ???: "...a few minutes with YOU is an eternal bliss for me..."

I am enjoying work! though I miss ??? pretty much....I don't get to see and be with her as much as I would want to. The good thing here is it makes my heart beat faster in anticipation of the moment that I get to see HER again...and much faster than before when I am with HER...

I'll be starting my new work tomorrow! Hope I get to have fun this time...

My mind's made up! I DO NOT PLAN TO WORK MY BUTT OF FOR THE NEXT 30 OR SO YEARS! I plan to work for a few years. And before I reach the age of 30, I venture out. I don't want to enjoy the fruits of my "HARD" labor when I'm 70! How can I enjoy? Imagine yourself as a 70 year old geezer on a trip around the world...AND YOU'RE STRAPPED IN A WHEELCHAIR!

Pak Syet!

"...this is very helpful in relieving stress...try it!"

Are You Feeling Stressed Out?
Picture yourself near a stream.

Birds are softly chirping in the crisp cool mountain air.

Nothing can bother you here. No one knows this secret place.

You are in total seclusion from that place called "the world."

The soothing sound of a gentle waterfall fills the air with a cascade of serenity.

The water is clear.

You can easily make out the face of the person whose head you're holding under the water.

Look. It's the person who caused you all this stress in the first place.

What a pleasant surprise. You let them up... just for a quick breath... then ploop!...back under they go...

You allow yourself as many deep breaths as you want.

There now... feeling better?

What type of vampire are you?

brought to you by Quizilla

Sunday, January 19, 2003

It's almost 2:00 am...AND I'M STILL VERY MUCH ALIVE AND KICKING! My friends tell me that I'm a vampire, a blood-sucking creature of the night, 'coz I'm always awake up to the very wee hours of the night living deep and sucking out all the marrow of life...

Just came home from Las Pinas where I had dinner with ???(actually, it was her treat) and her parents at Northpark ATC (Crispy Noodles FOREVER!). ??? looked GREAT with her NEW LOOK (she had her hair rebonded). After which we watched THE RING (US version) on the vcd player (the Japanese version was much scarier for me). Though I don't get scared easily, I still felt a little different when I was walking to the bus stop on my way home.

Anyway, I had a GREAT TIME! To top it all, the Full Moon was shining distinctly brightly tonight.....

...I was born the year of the Dragon. Here's what it says about my luck in 2003.

Born in the Year:
1940(metal), 1952(water), 1964(wood), 1976(fire), 1988(earth), 2000(metal)

Dragons` Characteristics:
Those born in the years of the Dragons often lead a life of grandeur and gaiety. They are adventurous and like to go into areas where others avoid. Quite often not seen as a good team-player, partly due to their over-bravery and partly due to the ways they look at things differently, Dragons, however, never failed to marvel people of their results. A trustworthy specialist, whom is capable to get the most difficult task accomplished, Dragons make wonderful partner, provided you decided to take the back seat.

Dragons` 2003 Luck:
2003 will be a very good turning point for the Dragons. Arise and take advantage of all the good stars that will shine down on you! For businessmen and women, go all out to capitalise. Whether current business or new ventures, you will have many friends coming your way to help you. Even past foes have to throw away their hatchets and assist you. Expand on your network and you will accumulate your wealth in the soonest time. If you reach a sizable milestone, sell some of the businesses away for profit before the end of the last quarter. For those working, your extraordinary performances will catch the eyes of your bosses` boss. You stand a good chance for double promotions but be humble to all those who had also assisted you one way or another. Don`t look at the bad economy, you have a destiny to prosper? For those contemplating on marriage, just do it! For Dragon ladies looking for love and romance and have not had much luck, slow down your pace a bit, let the men catch up. Similarly for Dragon guys, come down from your high pedestal and get your dream wife.

"...looks like 2003 will be my year!...if only this is true...."

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!

I wasn't able to post this past few weeks because I've been pretty busy.
But here is what happened the past few weeks.....

1) A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE DIED A FEW DAYS AGO. He was one of the "Barkada" . Part of my few close friends from high school. He was my classmate in elementary. He was also a classmate of mine for 4 solid years in High school. He was the only one in our class who wanted to become a lawyer.

Its easy to take on life when the ball is in your hands. You're comfortable. You know what to do and what to expect because you are in control. Now, Its a different story when its on someone else's hands. You don't know what will happen next. That's Life....

It took this sad moment to make the "barkada" meet for the first time after a long long time.

2) Attended a 4C class reunion called "Scav Convention"(more on this in my future posts). Had GREAT FUN! We all reminisced about the good and the bad times. We shared our experiences and updated each other on things happening in our lives. We looked at old photos of ourselves when we were still in High School...SIGH! the good old days...

3) Celebrated Christmas at home. Went to mass and had a simple dinner..."Paella"!!! yummy....by the way, EVER NOTICE THAT THE OLDER YOU GET, THE LESS GIFTS YOU RECEIVE??? In the end, its still the thought that counts....

4) Celebrated New Year at home. I notice that the fireworks seems less this past few new year celebrations. NO MONEY TO BURN???
