That's it...Last night was our last day in training. Its finally over after 1 1/2 months.

Next monday, we will be with our AMOs(Assistant Manager of Operations) But I find it hilarious when you associate it with the filipino word for boss which is AMO..hehehe... Below is the picture of Tania, my voice coach/trainer/supervisor during the last 3 weeks of training. Our Tranch (our UK friends prefer "tranch" than "batch" 'coz a batch is associated with eggs as in "..a batch of eggs.." Our Tranch was divided among the UK trainers. Initially, we were 3 in Tania's group, but 1 had to resign due to personal reasons.

From left: Me, Tania, and one of my "tranchmate" Pench

We had 3 weeks of "intense" training but it was all good 'coz we also had fun while learning. Aside from the tasks that we are assigned to do, I also learned a lot of things from my UK friends..mostly about their culture, traditions, and way of life. Nowadays, I get to use the term, "spot on!"(saying it with one of your index finger pointing at the side of your nose and the other hand's index finger pointing to the person who got the accurate idea or answer)...and a couple of UK slangs. Most of them would say, "NOBODY IN THE UK SPEAKS LIKE HUGH GRANT!" And, "WE JUST HAVE BETTER MANNERS", as what Richard our UK trainer would jokingly say.

I had this notion before of UK people being snobbish, snooty, or arrogant. Actually, they are NOT. They are the most fun-loving group of people I've ever worked with.

Its me again with one of my new friends, Julie or Joules to her close friends

Below are a few pictures of my "Tranchmates"...

I could truly say that we all had a wonderful time learning during the last 1 1/2 months of training...Cheers to my tranchmates and Cheers to the coming weeks...

It's been quite a while since I last posted here...Well..Things have been quite busy the past few weeks mostly because of my new work..To cut the story short, I resigned from my previous job and started my new one last 28Mar. The pictures above is the view from our office pantry. You could see the whole makati, paranaque, manila area, etc. from our floor..And it has the nicest sunset view ever(too bad I haven't taken a pic of it yet...)

Anyways...Things at work are going great so far. I believe I made the right decision. My training's about to end next week and I will officially be part of operations by next week..Hopefully... Now my goal is to get promoted before the year ends....

Btw, here some new pics from baby Zophia. She can now stand with support and is learning to do it by herself. My my my...How time flies.
